This homemade costume for couples entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Angela, the 'The Maitlands of Beetlejuice' costume creator:
Angela (myself) & my best friend Krissy came up with this idea from Beetlejuice! We are Adam & Barbara Maitland from Beetlejuice!
These are homemade costumes, everything including the clothes cost us $20 for both combined! :)
We made the masks with;
2 Wired Hangers
A cars board box
Foam
Paper Mache (flour, water, strips of newspaper)
Finger Erasers & glued on eyeball pingballs
Spray Paint
Foam Peanuts for teeth
Latex Rubber Glove for the top of Adam's mask
Salvation army clothes for $8
*Took a full week to make because the paper mache needed to dry fully before painting
