Chuck and Wilson Costume

I'm a film nerd, and knew I wanted to do a couples costume with my boyfriend this year. After some internet searching, I found the idea to do Chuck and Wilson! I ordered a 4 foot beachball online and started working as soon as it arrived. It took a couple of weeks, but I was happy with the way it turned out. Each day, I would papermache another layer onto the ball. Using one part water and one part flour, I added as many layers as I felt necessary to make the costume as durable as possible. After a week and a half, I cut through the papermache, deflated the beach ball, and began painting over it with white paint. The next day, I did my best to replicated the handprint of blood on the ball with a paintbrush. Luckily, my boyfriend already had some messed up shorts and found a Fed Ex box at his work. All we had to do was buy him a $3 beard!
