Coco: Frida and Hector Costume

I wanted to recreate a costume from my favorite movie of this year. I loved the colors and admired the movie story line. So I decided to make my costume by buying an authentic Mexican top and cropping it to look just like Frida's, the earrings I got in Argentina and they fit perfectly! My partner is wearing Hector. I was inspired by his younger character playing the guitar , rather than his weathered self. The make up was spot on. We tried our best and loved all the compliments. People say it's the best they've seen. And if you loved Coco as much as we do, you'd understand why it was so special for us to recreate this.
