Adorable Smurfette Costume

My 5 year old daughter wanted to be Smurfette. The costume was pretty easy. She already had the blue turtleneck and white dress in her closet. The only hard part was trying to find a pair of blue tights and blue gloves to match the turtleneck.. so i just went with the closest shade. I then used white fleece to sew into a hat and used some stuffing to make it stick up. We got her a yellow wig & she insisted on the white high heels. We found an old, beat up umbrella in the garage and turned it into a mushroom with red and white felt and my trusty old glue gun. I then painted her face blue. Ta-daaa! Smurfette under a mushroom. She loved it and got lots and lots of compliments while trick or treating. She felt like a star!
All together this cost about $30.
