Wearing the costumes at our local Starbucks!

A word from Karla, the 'Starbucks Family' costume creator:
My daughter, son-in-law and grand baby are wearing the costumes. I found the idea on interest. I used tan felt, a wire wreath form, and tulle to make the "cup" parts of the outfit. I made sure the wire wreath form would fit around their heads and rest on their shoulders to hold it up. I then just folded the felt over the top of the form and sewed it into place. I downloaded the Starbucks logo, printed it off and used t-shirt transfers from a local craft store to iron onto the "cup". I tucked tulle into the top of the form to create the foam on the frappe. For the hats, I used paper towel rolls painted green for the straws. I cut the bottom of the roll and folded it, then stapled to a toboggan along with extra tulle. (There may have been a better way to do this!) I also bought a green apron and put the Starbucks logo onto it, so I could be the barista and enjoy the fun as well.
