This homemade costume for families entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Haley, the 'Wizard of Oz' costume creator:
Our Family dresses up for Halloween and then uses the pictures for our Christmas cards. The Tin Man wore a gray t-shirt and sweats with a cardboard box and oil funnel spray painted silver. The Wizard wore a long sleeve white shirt, black pants, and cape. The Scarecrow wore a flannel shirt and overalls with hay stuffed throughout the pockets, as well as a burlap sack tied onto her head. Dorothy's shoes were white heels that were spray painted red with added glitter. The Wicked Witch wore a black skirt and long sleeve shirt. Most of the items worn were from the local Goodwill, but the Dorothy & Lion costumes were purchased :)
