Snifferella Costume

This is my dog Sophie aka Snifferella on her way to the ball! I love Disney and she loves to sniff so the idea of Snifferella was born! I put together her carriage from a wedding carriage kit that I got for Christmas last year. I painted it, put the LED lights on and attached the battery pack beneath the carriage and then decked it out with rhinestones all along the edge and around the wheels. This was only the second "fancy" dress that I made her so it took a bit of figuring out how to do the hip puffs and sleeves. It is made from blue and white satin. I made her tiara from a child's comb by cutting off the comb part, adding a rhinestone and attaching it to black elastic. She loves wearing it and doesn't try to get it off at all. I also made her bed out of foam and satin and then my mom had a little "glass" slipper which I attached to a satin pillow. My best DIY tip is that I epoxyed clear rubber tracking around the wheels for easy clean up.
