This homemade costume for families entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Angela, the 'Despicable Me 2 Family' costume creator:
My husband and I with our four children decided on Despicable Me 2 because it's one of our favorite movies and it seemed to be a good fit for our family. My oldest daughter is very creative and painted her own Lorax shirt, made our minion's goggles (from cheap goggles and "Ball" jar lids) and "G" logo for his overalls (out of craft foam) and added some makeup to darken up my husband's eyes. I made her skirt from a simple YouTube tutorial on pleated skirts. Everything else was pieced together from various things we had at home or inexpensively purchased.
