This homemade costume for girls entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Brenda, the 'Dragon Trainer' costume creator:
My 13 year old daughter loves mythical creatures. She especially loves dragons! How to Train your Dragon is one of her favorite movies. I decided to make her into a forest elf dragon trainer for Halloween. I used a dragon pattern created by Laura Hosler on GameGuardians (Etsy). (With her permission I am posting this costume.) The forest dragon is made of olive fuax suede and brown textured faux suede. It is worn like a back pack with chains. The dress is made from brown suede like material and the belt and gauntlets are out of faux leather. This costume was so fun to make and delightful for my daughter to wear.
