Forrest Gumps and Lieutenant Dan Costume

My husband and I decided to go with a Forrest Gump theme. I dressed as Lieutenant Dan, and my husband dressed as Forrest Gump.
I made a Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.label and added it to a ball cap for Forrest to wear. I wrapped a box in white paper and printed a Russell Stover's Candy label from my computer to put on the box. We had the ping pong paddle at home. His entire wardrobe was clothes we found at home, so his costume cost nothing! My costume consisted mostly of clothes I found at home. I did have to buy my Hawaiian shirt at a local resale shop, which cost $3.08. I also bought a bandana for $1.00 and a cigar for 89¢. I borrowed the wheelchair from a friend. This was the most fun costume and the cheapest we've ever put together! We were a hit at our friends Fall Festival!
