Handy Manny Costume

My grandson loved the Disney cartoon Handy Manny, so I decided to build him a Halloween costume. I built a wood frame around his toy car and painted it to look like Manny's red pick up truck. Then I made each of the tools. The two screwdrivers were toy swords with packing foam wrapped around them and painted to look like handles. The tape measure was a box and some craft foam sheets. The wrench, hammer,and pliers were pipe insulation (similar to pool noodles) and more packaging foam. I receive a lot of packaging foam in my business, so it was readily available. I used ping pong balls for the tools eyeballs and I attached tap lights to the front of the frame, for working headlights. We even had the theme song playing on the radio. He was one happy little boy!
