This homemade costume for men entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Eric, the 'Imperial Stormtrooper' costume creator:
The costume is made from an ANOVOS kit that included the sheets of ABS plastic. I then cut, painted, sized, and glued the costume parts together. The costume also has electronics (e.g. a mic, voice modifier, and fans). The assembly process took about 80 hours of work time spread over two weeks. This count excludes the time I had to spend waiting for the E6000 glue to dry. The overall kit with the price of tools and accessories includes comes to a price well over $1000 USD. The idea came from my lifelong admiration of Star Wars, and I regularly wear it.
