This homemade costume for babies entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Carla, the 'King Henry VIII' costume creator:
This is my 23 month old son Henry, who is an amazing little man so his costume had to be fit for a king. I purchased about $25 worth of fabric, mostly remnants since he’s so little. His nana and I tackeled the costume without a true pattern. We did use a simple dress pattern that was actually mine as a child to serve as the base for his jacket. His hat was a store bought pirate hat that we added all the embellishments. His belt was put together from several necklaces from his great grandmother.
