This homemade costume for men entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Dylan, the 'Leonidas' costume creator:
I am dressed up like Leonidas from the movie 300. All together it cost around 40 to $50. The helmet is paper mache over foam and metal for the side plates. The black hair on the top is from a broom. The spirits made from metal broom sticks. The shield is a round toboggan. The skirt is a brown leather ladies skirt that I cut up and sewed. The Cape is from a curtain. The shin and arm protectors are from sheet stock metal and everything is painted with a gold spray paint.
