This homemade costume for girls entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Brooke, the 'Purple Minion Gone Mad' costume creator:
My youngest daughter went as an "evil" purple minion this year with much delight! She is only 3 and did a great job wearing her costume all night, waving at fellow trick-or-treaters, and posing for pics with "adoring" fans! The costume was constricted with a cardboard tube (used to pour concrete in), foam camping mat, purple fleece, purple fur (taken from purple fur leg warmers), and goggles constructed from a candy tin, Styrofoam ball, and elastic strap. Got the idea from the very popular Despicable Me 2 movie!
