Wind Up Doll Costume

My two year old daughter dressed up as a wind up doll because she was SO wound up!
I handmade this costume for her from one of her old dresses that was light pink with some grey tulle. I added a white sweatshirt underneath because it was cold. A light pink bonnet that matches the dress. I put Halloween makeup on her face to make her look more doll like. I made the wind up key on her back with a paper towel roll and cardboard. I used cardboard to cut out the end of the key holes. I spray painted them with silver spray paint. Then cut holes in the bottom of the paper towel roll and put white elastic through it and tied it around my daughters torso to stay in place. This was I could remove the wind up key when we get in and out of the vehicle. She also wore pink striped tights and pink slip on shoes.
She was comfortable in this costume and could move freely like a toddler pleases. It is also versatile for cold/warmer weather.
