This homemade costume for adults entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Amanda, the 'Yule Goat' costume creator:
The Yule Goats origins go back to ancient pagan festivals throughout Scandinavia and Northern Europe. Combined with Christmas lore,Saint Nicholas would lead the goat symbolizing control over the devil.
The mask is made out of paper mache. Painted and decorated with bells ribbons and wheat. The basket contains presents wrapped in Muslin sealed with wax. The clothes things I already had to cut down on cost.
