This homemade costume for couples entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest, and won a special prize in the Most Creative Costume nomination!
A word from Kristin, the 'Lion-o and Cheetara' costume creator:
Robbie DeVito and Kristin Sommers as Lion-o and Cheetara from the popular 1980's cartoon "Thundercats." Robbie is incredibly artistically inclined and created both costumes using vinyl and hot press materials, lycra fabric, spray paint and industrial and artistic materials from hardware and craft stores. Lion-o's hair is 100% authentic -- grown specifically for the costume, bleached then dyed with manic panic. His body is also 100% authentic :) We take Halloween VERY seriously!
