This homemade costume for girls entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Christina, the 'Child's Play' costume creator:

My 3 year old daughter is wearing this costume, She loves watching all the Childs Play movies, does not get scared at all lol. When it came time for Halloween all she wanted was to be Chucky but there were no costumes in her size. I bought overalls from a thrift store, the shirt from an online 80s vintage store and drew on the yellow, red and blue markings with fabric paint.

My 3 year old watches/loves them as well... and many others as well... like Michael Myers. Love this costume idea! I work in a thrift shop, so the overalls will be easy to find, but not sure about the shirt... what site did you find it on? And to anyone who wants to judge or who has something rude to say: She watches them, yes. She doesn't however repeat anything she shouldn't, or act out anything inappropriate. She doesn't get scared or have nightmares, she just loves horror movies.

I found the t shirt on etsy. Vintage style clothing and thank you for not judging. yes she enjoys them & if I thought they effected her behavior obviously she would not be allowed to watch.
