This homemade costume for kids entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Marlena, the 'Bucket of KFC Chicken' costume creator:
This is my daughter, Makenna. I came up with this idea when we did our local Chicken Festival Pageant.For the costume portion of the pageant your costume had to be related to Chicken. We live in Corbin, Ky which is the birthplace of KFC. What better fit then to literally make her a bucket of fried chicken? It was such a hit and won and the pageant we went ahead and used it for her Halloween Costume. The cost was pretty much nothing we got the buckets from KFC and just put solid black pants and shirt on her. I made the fake chicken out of panty hose and corn flakes. Super simple but still yet genius!
