This homemade costume for pets entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Betsy, the 'Chia Pet' costume creator:
This is my two year old miniature schnauzer mix Maeby. She just loves (/hates) being a chia pet for Halloween. This was definitely a do it yourself labor of love for her mom. I had to buy sheets of felt and hot glue them together. Then I had to buy garlands of boxwood and individually cut each spring and glue individually to the felt one little dot of hot glue at a time. There were a few burns, but in the end it was totally worth it!
