King Kong and Empire State Building Costume

My son is wearing a Gorilla costume for King Kong, which was great because it was very cold outside. I was a building he could "climb". It was made of cardboard, glue and electrical tape. I made the body as a sandwich board for easy on and off. The hat was made to be a facinator. I used an existing facinator from the dollarstore as the base and then built the top of the building on it, it just clipped into my hair. I sprayed the cardboard with a little gold and silver to give it a shimmer, though in the dark it didn't matter.
