Oompa Loompas Costume

My boyfriend Jim and I love Charlie and the Chocolate factory. We decided to be Oompa Loompas. We spent 3 months making many trips to our local St. Vincent De Paul and Goodwill thrift stores. We used white duct tape to make the strips on the clothes. We got everything but the face paint at the thrift stores. The face paint had to be high quality so it would smudge or rub off. After some research, I ordered Diamond FX face paint. That stuff is TOP quality and well worth the money. Total spent on both costumes was $38. We used cheap white face paint for our eyebrows. I printed wonka bar wrappers on the internet and gave out snickers (wonka bars) to everyone. ALSO, I had my ipod in my pocket and set it on repeat to play the Oompa Loompa song all night long!!!!!!
