This homemade costume for kids entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Danielle, the 'Tin Man' costume creator:
My 6 year old daughter, Maria, is wearing the costume. Funnel hat is an auto parts store funnel painted silver. Knee "joints" are knee pads painted silver. Chest barrel, collar, and bow tie are made out of silver poster board (Michaels $0.99) and some duct tape. "Buttons" are coffee beans painted silver. Axe handle is made of paint stir sticks duct taped together. Ax head is made of cardboard wrapped in duct tape.
