Willy Wonka Family Costumes

This is myself and my two children dressed as characters from the original Willy Wonka movie. My son told me he wanted to be "the candy man" for Halloween so I started searching. All I could find were costumes for the Johnny Depp character in the newer film but none ffrom the Gene Wilder version so I had to make them. For the wonka costume I spray painted a suit coat with purple paint, sewed a vest from a pattern, and painted a black top hat with brown spray paint. The Veruca Salt costume was created from two different patterns I had to piece together. And my blueberry costume was just an inflatable blue suit you can find online with some buttons and a belt hotglued on. :)
