Edward Scissorhands Costume

My 7 year old son is wearing the costume. Last year we went to a local comic con and he saw a 17 year old boy waering a Edward Scissorhands costume. He turned around and said " mom i want a costume like that next Halloween.I took an old shirt and old black pants he already had, then just used a silver fabric paint marker to draw on details on shirt and pants. I also used an old purse i had for zippers and other details. For the scissors i used thick foam and painted them with the silver parker. I also used duck tape and black electrical tape for more details. Then some face paint and a black wig. I believe i only spent around $10 for all.
