Loveable Loofah Costume

My daughter, Riley (age 9) is wearing her homemade loofah costume! I googled DIY costumes and got the idea to make this! I used a tan colored leotard, pink tulle (and lots of it!), elastic headband material, a white cord, black headband, and rubber duckie! She is also accessorizing with a bottle of Mr. Bubble. I folded the tulle and tied it like little bow tie pastas. I made 14 "pastas". I attached each tulle "pasta" around two pieces of elastic headband material (fitted to her torso). Then I stitched the elastic in place on her leotard. I attached a loop of white cord material for the handle. Then I fluffed and fluffed! I also attached a little tulle and a rubber duckie to a plain black headband. 😊
