This homemade costume for girls entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Cassie, the 'Little Red Riding Hood and The Big Bad Wolf' costume creator:
Little Red Riding Hood is my 10 year old daughter, Danni & The Big Bad Wolf is our 1 year old Siberian Husky, Zoey. I decided on these costumes this year because this is our first Halloween with Zoey and Siberian Huskies are known for their "wolf-like" appearance. I made Danni's red riding hood out of a red tablecloth, her apron out of vintage fabric using a vintage pattern (thanks to my awesome mother) and consignment shop finds for Zoey's gown and glasses. I sewed a piece of elastic to a terry cloth shower cap for Zoey and cut slits for her ears.
