Hot Air Balloon Costume

This is the costume I made my daughter when she was almost 1.5 years old. The bottom is just a basket that I added straps and pennants made from felt/ribbon to. The top is a giant round balloon filled with helium and held in place with a large net (I think it was some type of floral net) attached to a styrofoam ring. I spray painted the net and foam. She turned heads everywhere!
