This homemade costume for babies entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Laura, the 'Wizard of Oz Winged Monkey' costume creator:
Jasper who is 3 months old today (11/1/12)is wearing the costume! The backdrop and costume idea came from my daughter Nickol Hayden-Cady who is his mother. No pattern really, we just used an old sleeper as the base pattern. A simple button and velcor in the back holds the costume together. The tail has flexible wire inside to bend and adjust. His hat was crocheted by Gramma, with a little bit of this and that, no pattern, just winged it!!! Pretty cute isn't he!
