Candy Vending Machine Costume

This is my 7 year old Gavin. His father should get all the credit. He spent about 20 hours on this. He used a large box, then added thin metal shelves. The shelves have slinky cut and zip tied to hold the candy bars. The front is a cut piece of plexiglass. The hardest thing was figuring out how to light it up. My husband found a rope light battery pack but it was a lil costly. I think like $40. Overall it was fun and most of all our kid is happy.
