A word from Joann, the 'Headless Butler' costume creator:
My son, Reno, is wearing the costume. We bought a suit at Goodwill, some foam, batting, and gloves at a Hobby Lobby and constructed our body. We filled the gloves with batting and sewed them to the shirt. One of the hands we put Velcro on the finger tips and then on the tray so it looks like he is holding up the tray. The tray is made from a Fed Ex box covered with foil and a doily. The other hand I sewed like a fist ang pinned it to the jacket. We threw some fake blood on there, painted his face, and he was ready to go. Keeping the body up was the issue, but we figured out with suspenders and a stick poked through. Everyone loved his costume!
