Inspector Gadget Costume

My son, Patrick (age 8), came up with the idea to be Inspector Gadget. He loves old cartoons. I ordered a trench coat, and paired it with some pants and shirt that he had. I bought a hat at added the accessories - a pair of rubber yellow gloves, stuffed to form hands. We cut a magnifying glass from construction and wax papers. The light was kept on the hat with double-sided tape and magnets.
