The Muppets "Animal" Costume

This costume was created for my 11 year old son. He loves the Muppets after watching some of their movies. He wanted to be Animal this year. We started by applying paper mache to a large child's play ball. We then calculated where we wanted the nose and eyes and poked holes in the ball. We covered the paper mache ball with felt and inserted the eyes in the pre-determined holes ( the eyes are made from Christmas ornaments that are painted. One of thee last touches was to add the yarn hair and feathers.
