Demented Dentist and his First Patient Couple's Costume

My husband and I decided to do a couple's costume. Since I am all about gory costumes and he is a first time costumer, this was perfect. For my costume, I bought cheap scrub top and pants from Good Will for the base of my costume. For the wounds on my head were temporary tattoos from Good Will. The most complex part of the costume was the mouth. For the teeth, I bought fake nails at the dollar tree. I cut them and shaped them like teeth. Using liquid latex, I made a like of top teeth and a line of bottom teeth, days before Halloween. When putting these on, I put a bandaid over each lip. Using liquid latex, I adhered each piece to my face and allowed the latex to dry. Next, to create the torn face affect, it was just toilet paper and liquid latex. Once the paper was almost dry, I tore it up from my face to look like peeling skin. After everything was dry, I used fake blood to color the mouth area and pink eye shadow found the outside of the wound. Finally, I used black lipstick to blacken out my lips. Then I squirted fake blood everywhere until I was satisfied with the effect. I went to my local dentist and got dental bibs and used a couple of lanyards to hold the bloody bib. I won the costume contest hands down.
