Marge and Homer Simpson Costumes

I dressed as Marge and my husband dress as homer. For Marge's costume I bought the red shoes at goodwill. We made the wig out of an old egg crate foam just laying around. We spraypainted the egg crate blue. For the eyes we bought a pair of glasses at the dollar store and 4 white foam balls. We cut the balls in half. Took the plastic piece out of the eyeglasses and glued the white foam ball on. We cut a hole in the middle and colored around the hole black. We bought black foam pipe cleaners at the dollar store as well and cut strips for the eyelashes and glued them to the foam balls. The green dress was some fabric we found at joann's fabric on clearance. The yellow shirt came from goodwill, We pinned the fabric around the shirt to make it a dress. Yellow gloves from the dollar store. Homers pants and shirt were found at salvation army. Yellow and brown paint was used for his face. Marges necklace was made from ping pong balls. Using fishing line to connect them, painted them red.
