Marie Antoinette & the Executioner Couple Costume

I decided to make this costume for myself after seeing other 'headless' costumes in past years. I bought the dress and altered it by adding fabric on the bottom hem to lenghthen it - added arms, made the torso and rigged it to hold up by anchoring it in a small backpack worn under the dress. It was only fitting that my husband dress as the executioner. It was a hit!
