My Neighbor Totoro Costume

This year I went as Totoro from Hayao Miyazaki's "My Neighbor Totoro". I made a full body jump suit out of grey fleece with a zipped front. I then attached the hood and stuffed the ears with extra fleece scraps. I used wire and the thickest interfacing I could find to make the ears stand up. The front was made afterwards using white fleece with grey fleece accents. I simply used some of my loose fitting clothing to create the pattern for the costume. My girlfriend is the other person in the photo and she was dressed as Totoro's friend Satsuki.
