This homemade costume for families entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Tina, the 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' costume creator:
My son was an OOMPA LOOMPA , husband is WILLY WONKA and I am VIOLET.. i cut off sweat pants for the oomph loompa and added buttons with suspenders. Used a green wig and brown face paint. Put pompoms on his shoes. My husband is wearing black on black with a wool jacket and dance cane. Top hat and white glass. I am Violet and got an inflatable morph suit and painted my face blue. We gave away Chocolate candy bars that were labeled WONKA BARS!!!
