Inside Out Family Costume

My husband was Anger. I made his hat from colored tissue paper and felt. I also made his tie. I was Disgust. I painted the shapes on a green dress I purchased. My daughter was Sadness. It was perfect because she was in a stage where she wouldn't smile at anyone she didn't know. We all painted our faces to match the character color and colored our "core memory" balls. The balls are plastic spheres that open in half. I stuffed them with shiny cellophane material and a battery operated light, then spray painted the outside.
