Nuclear Family Costume

My daughter loves to act like a robot, so my son had the idea we should all (my husband, daughter, son, and myself) dress up as robots this year.

For the costumes I started with a roll of insulation that I bought at the hardware store. It is double sided, so I spent a little time separating the roll. I then used double stick tape (the kind you use for insulating your windows) to attach the silver insulation to the boxes for the kids and my husband. I used the left overs for my dress.

For the computer components, my son and I had fun dismantling an old computer tower. I hot glued various components together to each of the boxes. The led lights are sound activated and attached with double stick tape. They really made the outfits.
