This homemade costume for girls entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kristie, the 'Sea Goddess' costume creator:
This is my daughter Alexandria. This was a collaboration on both our parts. Alexandria knew she wanted to be a sea creature, but most all of our inspiration came from finding the floral picks that we used for her headpiece. The dress itself is 2 pieces. The scepter has LED lights in it that glows a beautiful aqua color in the dark. The costume took a lot of time, and is a bit over the top for Halloween, but we made a lot of memories making it.
