Ursula Costume

This was the hardest costume I've ever made. My daughter wanted to be Ursula so I had to figure out how to make wearable tentacles! I learned that if you sew stretched elastic onto fabric, it makes the fabric curl like a tentacle. It was perfect. Once I made all 8 & attached them to a large piece of belt elastic, I added the "suckers" using purple puff paint. My daughter made her necklace & earrings out of clay & we bought the wig. The corset & purple shirt came from our costume bin & closet. It turned out beautiful.
