This homemade costume for kids entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Willow, the 'Cat and the Hat' costume creator:
My three year old son is wearing one of his favorite book characters The Cat and the Hat. DIY with a black shirt and pants. The chest and bow are painted felt and sewn to the shirt. The hat is sewn with painted wrinkles. For the fish bowl candy bucket we picked up a culdron bucket from a local resale shop and painted it to resemble the fish.
