This homemade costume for kids entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Amanda, the 'Cool Ranch Dorito' costume creator:
Four year old Charlie's favorite chip is Doritos. So, for Halloween we decided to marry his love of Doritos with his cowboy obsession. Throw in some sunglasses for the "cool" factor, and...Voila! The cutest snack on your doorstep this year. The boots, hat, and sunglasses we already owned. For the chip, I bought a yard of foam and cut it into the shape. Then, I sewed an orange shirt over the top. I sponged yellow and red paint for texture and splattered red and green for seasoning. All in all, $25 (tops) to make.
