This homemade costume for kids entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Michelle, the 'The Couch Potato' costume creator:
We used red cotton fabric, a little cardboard & chicken wire to make the couch. We cut a hole in the middle of it so my son could stand in the middle of it. For the potato I sewed light brown felt fabric, adding brown paint and string for embellishments. We used small black tights to make the potato legs filling them with stuffing and baby shoes for the feet.
