Tapatio Man Costume

I am wearing the costume. I got the idea from seeing a woman dressed as the chalula bottle last year. Tapatio is my favorite hot sauce!!. First I made the Tapatio sign and the Salsa Picante sign by tracing the lettering and painting it in onto cardboard. I used an exacto knife to cut it out. I then painted a black boarder onto a sombrero. I found the bolero jacket at goodwill. I put on a white shirt, a black cummerbund, and a red bow I made from a piece of red cloth my sister had leftover from her costume. I used wire to hold the Tapatio right on top of the sombrero and I used yellow string to tie the salsa picante sign around my neck. Total cost I would say was approx 25 dollars.
