Chia Pet Costume

This is Siren dressed as a Chia a pet. I got my aunt a Chia pet for birthday and decided to dress Siren up as one for Halloween. He won 1st place 2 years ago at the petco costume contest. I bought 6 squares of fake plastic grass from Michael's. I zip ties them together. I secured them on siren's back with 2 ribbons around him tied under his stomach. I cut out brown felt for his legs and attached them to the grass so they would stay up on his legs. It was a very costly costume to make. I can't remember how much I spent, but it was worth it because he had fun and we won first place!

Second picture is Siren as a beanie baby last year. I cut out poster board. Painted it like a beanie baby tag. Had all the info inside the tag like his name birthday a little story about him. The backside had a barcode and barcode number. Siren won first place at petco for this costume as well.
