This homemade costume for pets entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kathie, the 'Elvis' costume creator:
Sarek the doberman as Elvis. This homemade costume is made from shiny white/gold iridescent fabric, with a sequined belt (Vintage rhinestone belt from second hand store, painted with sparkly glitter nail polish). The collar was stuffed with fiberfill. Sarek is wearing Doggles brand sunglasses and has a TCB necklace just like Elvis always wore... made from an old earring. The hairpiece is made from craft fur (stuffed with fiberfill for shape) and held on with thin black elastic. The dogs nails were also painted with glittery gold nail polish.
