Kitten Princess Costume

Newly adopted four month old rescue kitten Ella acts like a total princess, so I thought I would dress her as one! Using some fabric from the fabric store (about $4), I cut the pieces into 1-2 inch strips and tied them around a piece of elastic that I sewed together. (I used a machine, but it could be done by hand as well.) The tiara was purchased at a costume jewelry store for about $12. I bent the hair comb off (not shown) and sewed elastic on the sides of the tiara, so that it would rest under her chin.
